Most frequent questions and answers on the program

The CBU MBA in CED is delivered both online and in-person format.

Candidates who do not have an undergraduate degree, but have significant work experience may be admitted and receive a GMAT waiver as a non-traditional student. Candidates will be assessed individually in areas such as experience and performance in their professional career. To find out if you may be eligible, email mba@cbu.ca

Students are charged tuition of $1,739.70, plus an $18.12 IT fee for each in-person course. Students studying on campus are also required to pay a $23.52 Campus Renewal Fee for each course, and a Campus Activity Fee of $40.30 per term. Students must complete 16 3-credit courses including the Applied Research Project to complete the program. Tuition and fees are based on the academic year 2023-2024 and are subject to change. Students studying off-campus are charged tuition of $2,479.20, plus an $18.12 IT fee for each in-person course and $1,739.70 for each online course (plus IT fee). Designed to foster capacities of analysis, critical thinking, leadership, and effective communication, the MBA in CED program equips students with both theoretical foundations and practical skills; the knowledge and tools to function effectively and productively in an increasingly changing global community. There is a significant amount of reading, writing and class discussion within each course. In addition, each student is required to complete an Applied Research Project, the culmination of the degree, which approaches a problem in a holistic, multidisciplinary manner and must meet the highest academic standards.

CBU’s MBA in CED program is accredited by the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Committee, the Ontario Ministry of Colleges & Universities, the Campus Alberta Quality Council, and the Saskatchewan Higher Education Quality Assurance Secretariat.
